Geotechnical drilling is a type of drilling that is performed as part of the construction process. This is mainly for structures such as buildings and oil rigs, or as part of the investigation process carried out on site prior to construction.

Water well drilling is the process of drilling holes in the earth's surface for the purpose of reaching a groundwater source. There are several water sources beneath the earth's surface but are difficult to reach and in some cases very deep. There are several drilling techniques that can be used for the purpose of drilling water wells and the most commonly used are rotary drillers that bore vertically into the earth.

Reverse Circulation drilling, or RC drilling, is a method of drilling which uses dual wall drill rods that consist of an outer drill rod with an inner tube.​​​​​​​​

Directional drilling is the practice of accessing an underground oil or gas reserve by drilling in a non-vertical dir​ection. Directional drilling increases the efficiency of oil and gas extraction, and can also lessen the environmenta​l impact of drilling.​​​​​​

Wireline core drilling systems are used for medium to ultra-deep boreholes, which provide the most efficient core sample extraction from the rock mass without pulling the entire drill string.​​​​​​

SBF uses 24 surface drill rigs and 9 underground drill rigs to offer drilling solutions for any situation. The company can also use 44 support drill equipment and vehicles, as well as 2 helicopters to conduct drilling operations in remote areas.
